Kay passed away peacefully, in her favourite chair on Saturday, December 24, 2016, at the age of 90. Kay is now joyfully reunited with her beloved husband Jean Paul, as well as her brothers John (Marian), Nick (Ann), Bill (Marilyn), Stephen and her sister Jeanne. Kay is survived by her sister Mary Storoszko and brother-in- Eugene Gorgichuk. Kay was a devoted mother to Joanne Roach (Frank), Paula Carbonette O’Connell (William), and Gerald (Patricia). Kay had many loving grandchildren who will miss her deeply, Paul (Sarah), Stefanie (Stephen), Tony (Kelly), Martin (Lindsey), Tyler, Nathan (Laura), Gavin (McKenzie), and J.P. She will be remembered with fondness by her great grandchildren Harrison, Elliott, Artem, Sashia, Rhys, Shay, Raya, and Remi. Kay will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, as well as many dear friends who have been a support to her throughout her life. Kay was known as a woman who was vivacious, and gifted when it came to caring for others. Her dedication to her community through her work at the Stittsville Ladies Auxiliary will be remembered. The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the staff of Stillwater Creek Retirement Home for their care and compassion towards Kay during her time there

Stittsville ON, Saturday, December 31, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to Pinecrest Cemetery. Memorial Donations to WNERP – Harmer House Day Program for Alzheimer patients, The Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation, Stillwater Creek Retirement Home, or the Alzheimer Society (Ottawa Branch), are appreciated by the family.
