It is with broken hearts we announce the passing of Joshua Joseph Britton on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at the age of 31. Born in Chatham on July 8, 1986 to loving parents, Mark and Lou Ann Britton (nee Boudreau). Beloved brother to Jeremy and Nicole (nee McDonnell). Idolized uncle to Mason and MacKenzie. Also leaving behind his two furry companions, Hunny & Buddy, which he loved as children.
Joshua was the proud grandson of (Late) Armand Boudreau and Lillian (Bechard) & Ronald Britton (late Barb) and Dorothy Dauphin.
Remembered always by his aunts & uncles; Aaron & Christine Boudreau, Karen & Gordon Cumming, Janice & Larry Meyerink, Bonnie & Tom Stover, Kim & (late) Brian Pierce, Lisa & (late) Kevin Pirsich, Debbie & Damian Skipper, and Scott & Leslie Britton. Also missed by many cousins.
Josh will always be remembered for his ability to make you smile. He gave the best hugs and could melt your heart with his letters, expressing his love. Josh cherished his time with his family, devoting his life to making them proud of him. He loved to be with his parents, brother, sister-in-law and niece and nephew, making them laugh and celebrating in their accomplishments. He idolized Mason and MacKenzie, longing for kids of his own just like them. Josh mastered the game of pool, winning Dooly’s National Championship. He enjoyed four wheeling and snowmobiling with his dad, brother and friends. An extraordinary memory was a family trip to Florida. His family was his life, so many memories to embrace.
Family to receive friends on Friday, November 17, 2017 from 5:00 – 8:00 pm at McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham. A Funeral Service in celebration of Josh’s life will be held at Evangel Community Church, 76 Sandys Street at 10:30 am, with visitation from 10:00 am until service time, on Saturday with Pastor Chris Couper as officiant. Cremation to follow.
In memory of Josh, donations may be made to Pet & Wildlife Rescue.
