Joseph Szarka – 2016

84 years, passed away peacefully on December 28, 2016. Beloved husband of Ina (nee Kennedy) for 62 years. Loving father of Joseph (Maureen), Dennis (Judy) and Carol Merner (Gregg). Cherished Grandpa to James, Drew (Jamie), Stephen, Michael, Christopher (Shelby), Ryan and Sarah. Joseph will also be missed by many family members. Joseph retired from Chrysler Canada after 33 years of dedicated service. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to all of the staff of Hillside at Country Village Health Care Centre for all of their care and compassion given to Joseph during his time there. Cremation has taken place. Visiting will be held at Melady Funeral Home (572 Notre Dame St. Belle River 519-728-1500) on Monday, January 2, 2017 from 2-5 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. In kindness, memorial donations to the Parkinson’s Society would be appreciated.
