Head, John William
John William Head of Oshawa, resident of Glen Hill Strathaven, Bowmanville passed away at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville on Wednesday August 16, 2017 in his 90th year. Predeceased by wife Marie and 2nd Wife Mary, sons John William Jr. and Jeffrey Edward. He is survived by his children Joseph, Jo-Ann, Douglas and Barbara. Grandfather to eight grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
John was a Veteran of the R.C.A.F 4th Service Squadron Uplands A.F.B. He was also a letter carrier for Canada Post, a security guard and a taxi driver for many companies in Durham Region.
A Memorial Service will be held at Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King Street East, Oshawa on Tuesday August 22nd at 2 pm. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time.
