1935-2016
The death of
John W. Beddow of Grand Bay-Westfield, beloved husband of the late M.
Casilda (Lyle) Beddow, occurred peacefully on Sunday, November 27,
2016 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on November
19, 1935 in Sydney Mines, NS, he was the son of the late Joseph and
Doris (Snow) Beddow.
Prior to his
retirement, John was employed as the General Manager at Baxter
Dairies.
John is
survived by his children, Herbie, Hope (Kevin), Lucy (William), Gerald
(the late Tina), Liam (Feme), Vera, Doris (the late Cory), Jackie, Joe
(the late Reberta), Casilda and Elizabeth; sister; Marilyn (Charlie)
brothers; Liam (Sharon) and Adrian (Margaret); several grandchildren,
many great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents and wife, he was also predeceased by his
daughters, Sharon, Louise and Marilyn.
Resting at
Brenan’s Bay View Funeral Home,
1461 Manawagonish Road, West Saint John (634-7425) with visiting on
Monday, November 28, 2016 and Tuesday, November 29, 2016 from 2-4 and
6-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from
St. Matthew’s Church, Grand Bay-Westfield on Wednesday,
November 30, 2016 at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow in St.
Augustine’s Cemetery.
For those who
wish, remembrances may be made to a charity of the donor’s
choice.
