John Reginald Meade
July 28, 1930 – November 17, 2017
We celebrate the life of John Meade. His path was lit by faith and his energy was dedicated to not only his own family but also the Cobourg community. His many years as an English teacher, dedication to many worthy causes and kindness left an indelible mark on all who knew him. John leaves behind his family who will dearly miss him but take comfort in knowing that he’s up above, playfully inserting Latin and puns into the conversation while he talks about his Little Pittsburgh (his pet name for Cobourg). For over 59 years, John had his loving wife Mary by his side. Cherished by his children, Martin (Ivana), Paul, Marybeth (Rob), Maureen (Rick), Jay and his many grandchildren, Madeline, Joseph, Jack, Ava, Chris, Grace, Megan and Liam. John is also survived by his brother Ed (Laureen) and sister Mary Ellen.
