It is with profound sadness that we announce the loss of John, our cherished Husband and Father. Most beloved Husband of Linda for 38 years. Loving and proud Father of Josh (Lindsay) and Jeff. Son of Don and Violet Hanson. Loving Brother of Betty Hogan, Bob (2016) and Claudia, Don (2015) and Connie, and the late William. Son-in-law of Nadine Chittim. Bother-in-law of Kevin Berriman, and Bruce and Sandi Berriman. Favourite fun-loving Uncle Johnny to all his nieces and nephews. John was a supportive friend and mentor, and his positive spirit spread across generations. He was a father figure to many. His influence and generosity will be eternally missed. Just like in sports, John fought for every last inch and he lived life to the fullest, bringing joy and laughter, especially laughter, to everyone he touched.
