Ramsay – The death
occurred, at his late residence, on Wednesday, December 27, 2017, of
John Ramsay, of Summerside, aged 87 years. Born in Conway, he was the
son of the late Clarence and Hazel (Smith) Ramsay. Survived by his
wife Nellie (Oatway) Ramsay; daughter Linda and son Wendell (Cathie);
grandchildren Jonathan (Bobbi-Jo), Patrick (Elaina), Geri-Lynn and
Samuel (Sarah); great-grandson Deakon Ramsay; brothers and sisters
Bill (Beulah) Ramsay, Elizabeth (Cecil) Palmer, George Ramsay, Roma
Larsen and Barbara O’Halloran; and by a sister-in-law Joyce
Ramsay. Predeceased by his son Leslie; brothers Eric, Arnold and
Donald; and by sisters Eleanor Ramsay, Jean Milligan and Christine
Moore. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Saturday,
then to Trinity United Church, Summerside, where funeral service will
be held at 2:00 p.m. Interment later in the Freeland United Church
Cemetery, Freeland. Visiting hours Friday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.
Memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the MS
Society would be appreciated.
