SCHARTZBERG (Kersh), Joan … Passed away peacefully on Tuesday,
August 15, 2017 at the age of 102. Beloved wife of the late Percy
Schartzberg. Daughter of Frederick Kersh and Amelia Kersh (Thompson).
Survived by her loving son Fred and his wife Mary; her grandchildren
Greg (Terry), Lorelei (Tim McLean), and Joanie; her great
grandchildren Arielle, Abigail, Jack, Jeff; and many nieces, nephews
and friends. Joan is predeceased by her daughter Anne. A special thank
you to the staff at Cambridge Country Manor for their overwhelming
love and care to Mama Joan and Grandma. Resting at Corbett Funeral
Home, 95 Dundas Street N., Cambridge, where family will receive
friends on Friday, August 18, 2017 from 2 … 4 and 7- 9 p.m. A
funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, August
19, 2017 at 11 a.m. Donations made to a charity of choice would be
appreciated by the family.
