Mrs. Joan Elizabeth McDonnell (nee Kennelly), aged 74 years, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at the TBRHSC. Joan was born on October 23, 1942. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and family as well as playing bingo. Joan is survived by her children Mike (Tamara), Brad, Darrell and Kim (Billy); brother Jimmy (Carol); sister Noreen (Bill); grandchildren Jenn, Ronnie, Brooke, Marley and Ryker; great grandchildren Dakota and Kendra. Predeceased by her parents James and Gertrude and her brother Elmer. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Jenkens Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations in Joan’s memory to the Northern Cancer Fund would be appreciated.
