Obituary for Jim Barrie
BARRIE, Jim
Peacefully at the Cornwall Community Hospital on Wednesday October 18, 2017 age 75 years. James Andrew Barrie of Ingleside. Beloved husband of Joyce (McAllister) Barrie. Loved father of Michael Barrie (Jennifer) of Williamsburg, Colleen Barrie (Kim Adams) of Ingleside, Andrew Barrie (Marjorie) of Williamsburg and Cathy Kroeze (Don) of Lunenburg. Cherished brother of Bob Barrie (Betty) of Cornwall and Ron Barrie (Lorraine) of Martintown. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Veronica, Victoria, Brayden, Quinten, Calah, Karah, Charlotte, Ethan, James, Anna and Matthew. Predeceased by his parents James and Margaret (Sterling) Barrie; one brother Wally Barrie (Bonnie of Ottawa) and one sister Lillian Phillips. To honour Mr. Barrie’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at the Brownlee Funeral Home MacDougall Chapel 14815 County Road 2 Ingleside on Thursday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. [A SERVICE IN CELEBRATION OF JAMES BARRIE’S LIFE WILL BE HELD IN THE CHAPEL OF THE FUNERAL HOME ON FRIDAY OCTOBER 27, 2017 AT 2PM.]. Rite of committal at St. Lawrence Valley Cemetery.
