1959-2017
Janice Mary Amos, 57, of Fort McMurray, AB,
formerly of Salisbury, NB passed away after a brief illness Tuesday,
November 21, 2017 at the Royal Alexander Hospital in Edmonton,
AB.
Born in Miramichi, NB on December 22, 1959 to John
and Marjorie (Pallen) Ryan, she worked for many years as the District
Manager at the Atlantic Superstore, and most recently employed at
Guthrie Mechanical in Fort McMurray. She enjoyed traveling and
spending time with her family.
Janice is survived and sadly missed by her mother,
Marjorie of Salisbury, NB; beloved husband of 30 years, Tom of Fort
McMurray, AB; son, Tyler (Maggie) of Fort McMurray, AB; brothers,
Brian (Gerry Lynn) of Yellowknife, NT, Mike (Leanne) of Salisbury, NB;
sister, Carolyn Ryan of Salisbury, NB; several nieces and nephews,
including cherished nieces, Shavon and Kalee; nephew, Jaret; great
niece, Nevaeh; great nephew, Cullen; her in-laws, Betty and Percy Amos
of Fredericton, NB; as well as brothers-in-law, Allen (Sandra), Alfred
(Donna), and Hilton (Bev) Amos. She was predeceased by her father,
John; and sisters, Brenda Trites and Patricia Dryden.
Resting at Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Route 106
(372-4800), from where visitation will take place on Sunday, November
26 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel
on Monday, November 27 at 1 pm with Rev. Chris Hayes
officiating. Interment at Pinehill Cemetery, Salisbury,
NB.
Memorials given to the Arthritis Society or a
charity of the donor’s choice will be appreciated by the
family.
