Obituary of Jadranka “Ida” Kopac
KOPAC, Jadranka (Ida) (nee Susnjar)
Peacefully at the Hamilton General Hospital, surrounded by her family in her 65th year. Beloved wife of Milan (Mike) of 41 years and dearly loved mother of Steve and his wife Magdalena, Stefanie, Mark and his partner Stacia. Cherished grandmother of Jelena, Lidija and Mia. Beloved daughter of Nada and predeceased by father Nikola and brother Dave. Survived by brother Bob, sister Jelena, sisters-in-law Pam and Patti. Dear aunt of Tia, Tesla and Nik. Will be sadly missed by family members and friends in Canada, the U.S.A. and in the former Yugoslavia. Heartfelt thanks to all the staff at Hamilton Health Sciences (General and McMaster Hospitals), St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton and her amazing healthcare teams who helped comfort her at local clinics and at home. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Thursday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Pomen at 7:30 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Cathedral, 149 Nash Road South on Friday, December 22, 2017 at 11 a.m. with The Very Reverend Father Djuro Samac officiating. Interment Eastlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Canadian Diabetes Association or the Kidney Foundation of Canada. Online condolences may be left at www.donaldvbrown.ca
