Irene Dzeryk – 2016

On December 22, 2016, at the age of 85, Irene Dzeryk left this world to join her loving husband, Bill.
Irene will always be in the hearts of her two sons and two daughters, Ken, Glenn, Julie-Ann (Rod Casemore), and Nancy (Larry) Hohnstein; grandchildren, Ryan, Jordyn, Shynabreann, Dennis, and Amanda; great-grandchild, Pheonix; dear sister, Lisa Reddekopp; as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Predeceased by her wonderful brothers, Fredrick, Victor, and Bert.
Thank you to the staff of Unit 4G4 and 5A2 at the University of Alberta Hospital who cared for our Mom, indulged her sense of playfulness and treated her with great kindness. Also thank you to the staff at Shepherd’s Care Kensington for the care and compassion in Mom’s final days.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, January 7, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Park Memorial Chapel, 9709 – 111 Avenue, Edmonton. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta, NWT & Nunavut, Suite 144, 5241 Calgary Trail NW, Edmonton, AB T6H 5G8.
