Obituary for Irene Kaake
KAAKE, Irene (nee Stinson) January 8, 1925 – March 24, 2017
Irene Kaake passed away peacefully on Friday, March 24, 2017 at the age of 92 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Thomas; six grandchildren, Kristina (Jason) Penney, Jennifer Kaake, Audrey Kaake, Evan Kaake, Michael Kaake and Dennis Kaake; one sister, Pat and her family; three brothers, Willy, Toby, George and their families. She was predeceased by her husband, George in 2006; son, Ronnie in 2011; five siblings, Hazel, Blanche, Pearl, John and Marion. A Celebration of Irene’s Life will take place at Evan J. Strong Funeral Services (5502 – 2 Street SW) on Friday, March 31, 2017 at 2:00 pm. A special thank you to all of the staff at Millrise Place for their care and compassion.
