Passed peacefully away on December 27, 2016, Irene Boone, at the Dr. Hugh Twomey Health Center, Botwood. She was 98 years of age. She was predeceased by her husband Aubrey, parents Frank and Pearl Wheeler; son Kenneth Boone; sister and brother. She leaves to mourn her son Timothy (Kay); daughters Betty (Harold), Karen (Harvey); 8 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and a circle of other relatives and friends. The funeral will take place from the Grace United Church, Cottrell’s Cove. Interment will follow at the United cemetery, Cottrell’s Cove. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Hoskins Funeral Home, Botwood. Pallbearers will be son Timothy Boone, sons-in-law Harold Grandy, Harvey White, grandsons Matthew and Johnathan Boone, grandson-in-law Ryan Parsons.
