Passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, at Billings Court Manor, on Thursday, December 22, 2016, at the age of 80. Beloved husband of the late Shirley (2015). Loving father of Sheryl, James (Carmela), Robbie (Lynn), Walter (Cathy), and Peter (Heather). Proud grandfather of 4 grandchildren. Dear brother of Marilyn. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Gathering will be held at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Thursday, December 29, 2016 from 6-9 p.m. For those who wish, donations in memory of Hugh to the Alzheimer Society would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
