~ Passed away peacefully at the Guelph General
Hospital on Sunday, December 17, 2017 at the age of 88.
Beloved husband for over 61 years of Shirley Hill (nee
Benzie). Loved father of Ken of Guelph, Rick (Debra) of
Georgetown and Gord of Oakville. Proud grandfather of Ryan,
Trevor (Jaclyn), Matt, Sydney, Shelby and great grandfather of
Austin. Predeceased by his brother Douglas and parents
Norman and Marion Hill. Ross was a member of Guelph District
Shrine Club, the Wellington Allenby A.F. & A.M. No. 89, and
the Wyndham Lodge, A.F.& A.M. No, 688
G.R.C. The Lodge will conduct a Masonic service at
the funeral home on Wednesday, Dec. 20th at
5:45 p.m.
Friends may call at the GILCHRIST
CHAPEL – McIntyre & Wilkie Funeral Home, One Delhi
Street, Guelph from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Wednesday. A memorial service will be held in the funeral
home chapel on Thursday, December 21st at 1:00
p.m. complete. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to
Shriners Childrens Hospital would be appreciated.
