Hervé Léger, 76, of Saint-Gregoire, passed away
peacefully, surrounded by his family, at the UHC Dr G.L. Dumont,
Moncton on Monday July 24, 2017. He was married to Paulette (Maillet)
Léger. Born in Cocagne, he was the son of the late Eric and
Rosanna (Goguen) Léger.
Hervé was a general contractor and a member of the Antique
Memramcook Valley Cruiser and the Antique Ford Club.
He will be sadly missed by his wife Paulette, his two daughters;
Ginette Richard (Adrien) of Saint-Gregoire and Monique Capson of
Moncton and four grandchildren; Jérémie, Bianca, Janica
and Jayden. He also leaves to mourn four sisters; Claudette Bourque
of Moncton, Jeanne Gauvin of Leominster, MA, Rose-Mai Collette
(Léonide) of Saint-Antoine, Dorine LeBlanc (Francois) of
Saint-Joseph-de-Kent, and three brothers; Omer, Donald of
Saint-Antoine and Gerard (Odette) of Cocagne as well as several
nephews and nieces.
He was predeceased by his son Terrence (1999), one stepdaughter Nadine
(1996) and a brother Ulysse.
Visitations will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de
l’église, Bouctouche on Thursday July 27, 2017 from 2 to
4 and 7 to 9 and on Friday from 9 to 10:45 am. A funeral Mass will be
celebrated at the Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church,
Bouctouche on Friday July 28, 2017 at 11:00 am with interment in the
Saint-Antoine parish cemetery.
In Hervé’s memory, donations may be made to the CHUDUMONT
Foundation «palliative care».
Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Maillet Funeral
Home, Bouctouche.
