Obituary of Herman Minor
MINOR- Herman L. of Port Colborne passed away at the Welland County General Hospital on Friday, December 1, 2017 at the age of 82 years. Beloved husband of Gertrude Mahaffey of many years, dear father of Rob (Norma) Esler, loving grandfather of George and Danielle, brother of Margaret O’Malley and Ervin (Vic) (Diane) Minor, godfather to Vicki. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Herman was predeceased by his parents Herman and Emma Minor, his siblings Louise Hoyle, Eileen Gardiner, Ella Nester, Ina Wood and Edward Minor. By Herman’s request, cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation and a private family burial will take place at Oakwood Cemetery at a later date. If so desired, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Welland and District Humane Society.
