It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our father, grandfather and uncle, Hepburn Reid, age 93, on Friday Nov 10, 2017, surrounded by family at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Palliative Care Unit. Born in North Sydney on Nov 3, 1924, He was the son of the late Thomas Reid and Helen (Downy) Reid. Hepburn worked in the Princess Mine and then Marine Atlantic as a Stevedore. He was a WWII Veteran and was recognized for the Liberation of Holland. He was the youngest of 10 siblings. Hepburn is survived by his 6 children, Tom (Marion) Reid, Jack (Bev) Reid, Charlie (Wendy) Reid, Kevin (Florence) Reid, Debbie (Sandy)…
