At the age of 99 years, Helen Audrey Graham (Stewart) of
Belleisle Creek, NB, passed away peacefully at the Sussex Health
Centre on Friday, February 10, 2017 following a short period of
failing health. Born in Reed’s Point, NB on July 29, 1917,
Helen was the daughterof Jesse (Lamb) and Gordon Stewart. In 1945,
Helen married George Thomas Graham and together they celebrated 53
years of marriage on their farm on Bullmoose Hill until his passing in
1998.
Helen is survived by her children Cortland and Susan Graham,
Carl and Sharon Graham, Audrey and David Totton, and Darrel and
Deborah Graham; 10 grandchildren Trevor (Shannon) and Jamie (Sue),
Paula (David), Talmage (Natasha), Michael (Crystal) and Robyn, Heather
(Rahul), Joyce (Mark) and Karen, and Stuart (Elizabeth); 12 great
grandchildren Katrina, Laurissa (Anders), Sarah and Reyna, Nicholas,
Dani, and Dakota, Maya, Corlee, Tressa and Oddette, and Olive; and
several nieces, nephews and cousins. The last surviving member of her
family,Helen was predeceased by her parents, her brothers Claude,
Frank and Kenneth, and sister Odette who died in
infancy.
Visitation will take place at Sherwood’s Funeral
Home and Life Tribute Centre, (506) 839-2156, 18 Scovil Road, Norton,
NB on a date to be announced. A funeral service will be held at St.
Simon & St. Jude’s Anglican Church, Belleisle Creek,
NB on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at 11:00 am. Interment in St. Simons
& St. Jude’s cemetery will take place in the
spring.
Donations in the memory of Helen may be made to the Arthritis
Society of New Brunswick, Heart & Stroke Foundation of New
Brunswick, St. Simon and St. Jude’s Anglican Church, or to a
memorial of the donor’s choice. Personal condolences to the
