HERMAN, Harvey Lloyd -82
of Berwick, formerly of Italy Cross, passed away October 30, 2017 in
Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Middlewood, he was a son
of the Late Clayton and Susie ( Steadman) Herman. Harvey enjoyed
hunting and fishing and walking through the woods. He especially loved
the bus trips he took with the Nursing Home and regularly attended
church. He worked in his younger years on the Okay Service Boats and
for many years after that for the CNR, from where he retired. After
his retirement he was employed with Department Of Transportation as a
Flagger. Surviving are his half-sister Shirley Maynard; cousins Joyce
Rhyno, Shirley Wile, Beverley Breckenridge, Aubrey Rhyno and their
families. He was predeceased by his cousin Dougie Rhyno. Visitation
2-4pm Wednesday, Funeral Service 2:00pm Thursday, both in R.A. Corkum
Funeral Home, Wileville. Rev. Vivian Moores officiating. Interment in
Italy Cross Cemetery. Immediate Family Flowers only. Memorial
Donations may be made to SHAID Animal Shelter or the Heart and Stroke
Foundation of Nova Scotia. We would like to thank the New Vision Home
for special care in Berwick and the Doctors and Nurses at Valley
Regional Hospital for the wonderful care they gave Harvey. On-line
