Harry Taylor, 95, of Riverview passed away, Sunday, August
27th 2017 at the Moncton Hospital.
Harry was born May 27, 1922 in Regina,
Saskatchewan, son of the late Richard and Ada Taylor. He
married Kathleen Garn on April 4, 1948 in Edmonton, Alberta. Kathleen
passed away February 23, 1980. Harry was in The Canadian Army for 27
years and served in World War II, he was a member of the Royal
Canadian Legion Branch #6 and The Air Force Club in
Moncton.
Harry retired from the Canadian Army in 1971 and
moved from Borden to Mississauga where he worked for CIBC
Security. In January, 1981 he met Jean Lewis (Rogers) in
Florida and they were married October 31, 1981. He retired
from CIBC in 1982 and he and Jean moved to Moncton.
Besides his wife Jean he is survived by daughter
Linda Blais (Tom) in BC, son Rod (Mary) in Ontario, son Gary (Yamina)
in Ontario and daughter Kathy (Anita) in Ontario, as well as 10
grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren living in Thailand,
Australia, Ontario and BC. He is predeceased by his first wife
Kathleen, sister Ada Bleue (Al) and brothers Jack, George, Dick and
Kenny.
Arrangements are in the care of Armstrong’s
Funeral Chapel, 33 Russell Street (756-3361), with a private service
at a later date. Internment to take place at Steeves
Settlement Cemetery.
Memorials in memory of Harry can be made to a
charity of the donor’s choice.
