Harold Eben Elliott – 88, Wallace Bridge, peacefully went to be with his Lord and Saviour, from the Lillian Fraser Memorial Hospital, Tatamagouche, with his family by his side Thursday November 16, 2017. Born in Port Howe, he was a son of the late Charlie and Katie (Cameron) Elliott. Surviving are his beloved wife Ruth; daughter, Kitty (John) Bain, Port Hawkesbury; son, Eben (Trish), Wallace Bay; daughters, Sandra (Allan) Turkington, Venezuela; Carolyn, Wallace Bridge; siblings: Mildred Smith, John (Eva), Alvin (Marjorie), Nina Souder, Kilburn (Bernice), George (Deena), Frances Flynn, Philip (Debbie), Myrtle (Edwin) Smith, Sharon (Pat) McGinnis; sister-in-law, Karen Elliott; many beloved nieces and nephews; grandchildren: Stephen (Carolina), Samuel, Emily and Mary Bain; Charlie, Brad and Maggie Elliott, Ruth, Rebekah, Hannah, Joe, Sarah, Rachel, and David Turkington; and great grandchild Jonathan Bain. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his brothers, Lloyd and Neil; brothers-in-laws, H. Lloyd Smith, Stanley Flynn and Marv Souder; nephews, Donald and Gregory Elliott; niece, Cheryl Froebe. Visitation will be held Sunday, November 19, from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. in Mundle’s Funeral Home, 204 Water Street, Pugwash. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 20, 2017 at the Pugwash Junction Gospel Hall with David Hunt officiating. Burial to follow at the Riverside Cemetery, Wallace River. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Donald and Gregory Elliott Memorial Scholarship Fund, Venezuelan relief or the charity of your choice.
