Snyder, Gregory Charles – With heavy hearts we announce the
passing of Greg Snyder, age 70, Fancy Lake, NS. Greg passed away
November 6, 2017. He was the son of the late Margery Dykeman (Hebb)
and Robert (Bob) Snyder of Bridgewater. Greg is survived by his loving
wife of 25 years Evelyn (Hatt) Snyder; bothers Terry (Heather) Snyder,
Bridgewater, and Geoffery (Carol) Snyder, Bridgewater. Greg was
fortunate to retire with a full pension from the Department of
Transportation at age 49. To those close to him he was known as
“The Legend” or “Bowie Koon”. You could always find him sitting lake-side
with a set of binoculars, reading a good book, or listening to music
with a cold beer in hand. He cherished time spent with family and
friends, and the hunting cabin at Lake Rossignal with his
Lake-Brothers. Greg will certainly be missed by everyone, especially
his four step-children and his grandchildren. No funeral service by
request. Cremation is under the direction of R.A. Corkum Funeral Home.
Private burial at a later date. Donations may be made to the Canadian
