Gordon Foster – 2016

On December 18, 2016, Gordon Foster of Edmonton, formerly of Nampa, AB, passed away in his 90th year.
Gordon is survived by his daughter, Jeanne Foster; two granddaughters, Marcie (Lucas) Willier and Michelle Foster; five great-grandchildren, Sarah, Camryn, Olivia, Gracie and Zackary; sister, Shirley Busch; daughter-in-law, Leona (Carey) Humeniuk and their family; two sisters-in-law, Anna Bykevich and Olga Matiasiewich; and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his wife, Lillian; son, Rick; parents, Robert and Emma Foster; two brothers, Robert (Sally) and Donald (Evelyn); and three sisters, Jean Gardner, Joyce (Jack) Morrish and Madge (John) Gardner; brothers-in-law, John (Marie) Matiasiewich, Mike Bykevich, Bill Matiasiewich, Paul Busch and Metro Matiasiewich; and sister-in-law, Sophie (Art) Huggins.
Funeral Service Friday, December 23 at 11:00 a.m. at Park Memorial Chapel, 9709 – 111 Avenue. Cremation will follow. In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made to Parkinson Alberta, 102 – 5636 Burbank Crescent SE, Calgary, AB T2H 1Z6 or the charity of one’s choice.
