Gordon Michael Duda
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Gordon Michael Duda announce his passing on Wednesday, July 26, 2017, at the age of 68 years.
Gord was born May 14, 1949, and was raised in Sexsmith, AB. He spent his adult life in BC and Alberta.
Gord leaves to mourn his passing his greatest loves: his wife Amber; his children: Mike (Lisa), Marteena (Dave), Mur-ray (Ashley), Chad, and Kyle; and his grandchildren: Sean, Dakota, Carly, Jeremy, Tanner, Jordan, and Josh. Also mourning his passing are his mother Helen; 3 brothers: Martin, Jim, and Daniel; and his sister Mary-Jean (Rob).
Gord was predeceased by his father Mike, both his maternal and paternal grandparents, and his infant granddaughter Emmalee.
A Prayer service for Gord will be held on Monday, July 31, 2017 at 7:00pm, at Oliver’s Funeral Home in Grande Prairie (10005 107 Ave.).
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, August 1, 2017, at 11:00am at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Grande Prairie (10404 102 St.). Father Mark Miller officiating.
