Gloria M. Embleton
1951-2017
Gloria Embleton of Fredericton, NB passed away at York Care Center,
Fredericton, NB on May 27, 2017. Gloria was born in 1951 at Clair,
NB, a daughter of the late Rodolphe and Reine (Cyr) Soucy.
She is survived by her husband, David Embleton, Fredericton, NB; a
daughter, Kristin Gillis (Dan), Goose Bay, Labrador; a grandson, Nolan
Gillis; one sister, Lucille Soucy (Claude Savoie), Fredericton, NB;
two nieces, Annie Martin (Jamie Fitzgerald), Fredericton, NB and Marie
Corey (Philip), Ottawa, ON; two great nieces, Élise Fitzgerald
and Nora Corey; a sister-in-law, Evelyn McEwen (Murray), Nackawic, NB;
an uncle, two aunts and several cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by an infant brother,
Michel Soucy and her parents-in-law, Norman and Isabell Embleton.
Visiting hours will be held at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis
Drive, Nackawic, NB on Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 pm. Funeral
service will be held on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at 2 pm from the
funeral home chapel with Rev. Greg Williams officiating. Interment at
the Barony Cemetery. A reception will follow in the funeral home
dining room.

has suggested the Barony Cemetery, York Care Foundation or a charity
of the donor’s choice.
