1943-2016
It is with great sadness that
the family of the late Gladys (Dicker) Gear-Lyall announce her passing
on December 14, 2016 at the Labrador-Grenfell Health Centre in Happy
Valley-Goose Bay at the age of 73 years.
Leaving
to mourn with fond memories are her children George (Mary), Lucy (John
Ikkusek), Donald (Kay), Ernie (Darlene), Merle (Harriet), Robert
(Carol), Lindsay (Scott Anderson); step-children Peter Lyall (Jenny),
Linda (Cluney McNeil) and Cindy (Mike Dwyer); 22 grandchildren and 19
great-grandchildren; brother Keith (Kathy) as well as a large circle
of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was
predeceased by her first husband George Gear, second husband Victor
Lyall, her sons, Henry and Brooklyn, her parents Fred and Margaret
Dicker, 2 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild in infancy as well as
many family members and other relatives.
Friends
may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home in Happy Valley-Goose Bay
on Thursday, December 15 from 7-9 pm.
Funeral
service will be held in Postville from the Bethel Pentecostal
Tabernacle, Pastor Richard Paddock officiating with interment to
follow at the Postville Cemetery.
As
