1942-2017
Germaine Duplessis, 75, of Bouctouche, passed away peacefully
surrounded by her family, at the Stella Maris de Kent Hospital,
Sainte-Anne-de-Kent on Sunday August 6, 2017. She was married to
Robert Duplessis. Born in Richiboucto-Village, she was the daughter
of the late Adelard and the late Laudia (Richard) Arsenault.
She will be sadly missed by her husband Robert, her five children;
Monique Duplessis of Cocagne, Marie-Louise Duplessis of Saint-Antoine,
Diane Duplessis, Victor (Chantal) and Mario (Vickie) of Bouctouche,
four grandchildren; Benoit, Sophie, Janie and Sylvie. She also leaves
to mourn five sisters; Lauretta LeBlanc of Bouctouche, Ida Babineau
(Normand) of Richiboucto-Village, Rita Johnson of Rexton, Annette
Perrault of Acadieville, Sylvia Roy (Regis) of Moncton, three
brothers; Yvon of Richiboucto, Alphonse of Moncton and Roger of
Bouctouche as well as several nephews and nieces.
She was predeceased by one brother Zoel.
Visitations will be held at the Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de
l’église, Bouctouche, on Tuesday August 8, 2017 from 7 to
9 and on Wednesday August 9, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 5:30 to 6:45 pm.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Saint-Jean Baptiste Church,
Bouctouche on Wednesday August 9, 2017 at 7:00 pm with interment in
the parish cemetery.
In Germaine’s memory, donations may be made to the Phare
Communautaire de Bouctouche.
Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Maillet Funeral
Home, Bouctouche.
