George W. Hartlen – Age 77 of Deep Brook passed away December 26, 2017 in Yarmouth Regional hospital. Born in Halifax he was a son of the late Ralph and Winnifred (Houseman) Hartlen. Before his retirement, George worked at Pearson Peacekeeping Centre and CFB Cornwallis. He enjoyed gardening and restoring old cars. George is survived by wife, Faye Winchester; sons, Michael , Mark; daughters, Heather (Joey) LeBlanc, Catherine (David) Carty; granddaughter, Amber (Kyle) Bruce; brother, Ralph Hartlen; sisters, Elsie Hartlen, Audrey Martin, Toni Taylor, Joanne Oliver; half-brother, Tony (Ann) of England; step-sons, Mark (Corinna) Lowe, Brian…
