George Edwin Stevens in his 71st year, passed away peacefully with his adoring family by his side after a short but very courageous battle with cancer. George is survived by his wife Sharon, daughter Sarah (Andrew) and son Mike (Jen). George was the proudest Papa to Logan, Carson and Miles. George was a friend to many and was always willing to lend a hand or offer useful advice. “Scruffy” as he was known at the casinos, will be dearly missed by his mother-in-law Mary Kozar, sister-in-law Deb (Frank) and brother-in-law Rod (Brenda). The family would like to sincerely thank all the medical teams who provided support and care through this difficult time, especially nurse Linda. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Margaret Mary Roman Catholic Church, 20 Idlewood Avenue, Hamilton on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at 11 a.m. A Private Family Interment will follow. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 30th from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Bay Gardens Funeral Home – “William J.
