Gary A. Trites of Riverview passed away at The Moncton
Hospital surrounded by his loving family on Friday, October 6, 2017
following a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Moncton, he was the
son of the late Donald and Stella (Cormier) Trites.
He will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Pam Trites
(Gallagher); his daughters, Kelly Trites (Kyle Spencer) and Kimberly
Clark (Ryan) both of Riverview; grandchildren, Élodie Long,
Alexandra Long and Charlotte Clark; sister, Karen Hodgins (Donald) of
Riverview; brother, Wayne Trites (Jean) of Moncton; several nieces and
nephews and his four-legged best friend Coco. Besides his parents he
was predeceased by his sister Donna.
Gary had been employed with Napa for over 37 years prior to
his retirement. He was an avid sports fan, yet it was hockey and
baseball that he really enjoyed, he loved to watch the Toronto Maple
Leafs and the Toronto Blue Jays play. He had a passion for music
whether it was on the radio or live.
The family will be receiving relatives and friends at
Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd,
Riverview (869-2007) on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A service
celebrating Gary’s life will take place at Cobb’s
Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at 11 AM. Donations
to The Friends of The Moncton Hospital (Oncology Department) would be
appreciated by the family. Condolences can be made at
