Francis Joe Joseph Rehaume – August 2nd, 2017

REHAUME, Frances Joseph “Joe”
It is with great sadness that I announce the sudden passing of Frances Joseph Rehaume of Innisfail, AB on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at the age of 77 years. Joe was born and raised on a farm near Pleasantdale, SK on September 19, 1940. He enjoyed horseback riding and helping on the farm until they moved to Calgary in 1960. Joe met Sheila Berreth in Calgary where they were soon married on September 14, 1963.They were married for 50 years till she passed in 2014. He worked as a highway equipment operator then moved into the oil and gas industry. Joe worked over 30 years as a sales rep and service tech for Royalite Ltd, Gulf Oil and Petro Canada.
Dad loved hunting, fishing and camping. Dad was a kind hearted, calm man, a good husband, father and grandfather (Papa). He enjoyed playing horseshoes, bingo and cards with his family. Frequenting Tim Hortons was always his favorite thing to do.
Joe will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Susan Weidemann; grandson, Colton Chynoweth; sisters, Millie Fidyk and Connie Bunnah; brothers, Marty and Brent Rehaume. Joe was predeceased by his wife, Sheila of 50 years (2014); mother, Merle (1995); father, Frank Rehaume (1996) and brother, John (1994). He will be dearly missed by all his family and friends.
In lieu of flowerers donations may be made in Joe’s memory to a charity of one’s choice. A Celebration of Life was held at the Innisfail Seniors Drop In Centre on Monday, August 14, 2017 at 1:30 pm. Thank you for all whom attended.
