Obituary of Floyd Snyder
Floyd passed away at his home in Kitchener on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at the age of 78.
Floyd was predeceased by his loving wife of 47 years, Sylvia (nee Douglas) on February 26, 2017.
Dear father of Dale Snyder (Sandy) of Cambridge, Mark Snyder (Emmy) of Guelph, and Grant Snyder (Mike) of Nanaimo, B.C. Loving grandfather of Sophia Snyder. Fondly remembered by his sisters Salome Harrison, Ina Martin, Edith Pekarek, brother Paul Snyder (Martha), and sister-in-law Diane Cressman.
Predeceased by his parents Elo and Susannah (nee Martin) Snyder, brother Amos Snyder (Naomi), and brothers-in-law Leslie Harrison, Eldon Martin, Harry Pekarek, and Mervin Cressman.
Friends are invited to share their memories of Floyd with his family during visitation at Country Hills Church, 1280 Ottawa St. S., Kitchener on Thursday, September 28, 2017 from 10 – 11 a.m. The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. with Rev. Jeremy Shuart officiating. A reception will follow at the church. Private family interment at Bloomingdale Mennonite Cemetery.
