Rancourt, Evelyn (née Shaw) 1938-2017
It is with great sorrow that the family announces her peaceful passing on Tuesday February 14, 2017, at the age of 78 years. Daughter of the late Duncan Shaw and of the late Agnes Levequie. She leaves behind her husband of 48 years, Leonard Rancourt of Sturgeon Falls and her daughters Caroline Legault (Hanmer) and Natalie Rancourt (North Bay). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her granddaughter Melissa Tardif (Ottawa). Dear sister of Allan George Shaw (Marlene) of Sunridge and of the late Duncan Wilford Shaw. She is also remembered by her brothers and sisters in law as well as many nieces and nephews. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Théorêt-Bourgeois Funeral Home in Sturgeon Falls on Saturday February 18, 2017 from to 2:00 – 4:00 P.M. A celebration of her life will follow at 4:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Nipissing Serenity House are greatly appreciated.
