DUNCANSON, Evangeline Gloria “Dolly”
At age 88, our mother, Evangeline Gloria Duncanson or “Dolly”, of Falmouth, passed away December 29, 2017.
Mom was a social person with many friends. Her favourite time of year was Christmas. She had a deep passion for her family, always knitting and her home. She was chief guide at Haliburton House in Windsor for many years. Upon retirement, she enjoyed activities with her friends and her home life.
She is survived by daughters, Katherine and Christine; son, James; grandchildren, Amanda, Laura and Michael Duncanson. She was predeceased by husband, Frederick Duncanson.
Arrangements have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., Windsor (902-798-8317), A funeral service celebrating Dolly’s life will be held 2 p.m., Friday, January 5 in St. George’s Anglican Church, 465 Sangster Bridge Rd., Falmouth, Rev. Tom Henderson officiating. A private, family-only interment will immediately follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Dolly may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
