It is with great sadness that the families of Ethel Mae Bennett nee Ellsworth announce her passing at the Bonne Bay Health Centre, on Wednesday, August 23rd, 2017, at the age of 71 years.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband; Curtis of 50 years marriage, her children; Janice (Gordon) Crocker, Freddie Bennett (Pauline Nichols), Dorothy Bennett (Scott Payne), Daniel Bennett, Jamie Bennett, Edgar Bennett (Tina Quinlan), Angela Bennett (Damien Barnes), and Stephen Bennett, her grandchildren; Andrew (Terri-Lynn Pinksen), Mark (Jennifer Batt), Christopher, David, Kyle, Zack, Deneka, Hayden, Logan, Seth, and Natalie, her great granddaughter; Nevaeh, her siblings; Sabina Payne, her sisters-in-law; Betty Ellsworth, Colleen Bryan, and Irene Payne, her brothers-in-law; Bernard (Daisy) Bennett, and Graham (Lorraine) Bennett, her special bingo buddies. Mother was predeceased by her parents; Dorothy & Frederick Ellsworth, her brothers; Edgar Ellsworth, Claude Ellsworth, Rufus (Stella) Ellsworth, and Sidney (Cora) Ellsworth, her sister; Edith (Stanley) Payne, her in-laws; Hilda & Donald Bennett, her brothers-in-law; Joseph Payne, Ralph Payne, and Foster Payne. Also leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, extended families and friends.
The family will be receiving family and friend at St. Matthews Anglican Church in Rocky Hr, NL, on Thursday, August 24th, 2017, from the hours of 7-9 pm, and continuing on Friday, August 25th, 2017, from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 pm, where also the funeral service will take place form on Saturday, August 26th, 2017, at 2:00 pm, with Rev Kay Short officiating with the burial to follow at the family plot of the church cemetery, in Rocky Hr, NL.
