Ernest (Ernie) Frederick Taylor, 58, of Petitcodiac
passed away suddenly on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at the Moncton
Hospital with his family at his side.
Born in Kitchener, Ontario to the late Ernest and
Shirley (Steeves) Taylor, Ernie was an extremely hard-working delivery
driver for Irving Oil for over 25 years. He also was a devoted and
baptized Jehovah’s witness and was a member of the Salisbury Kingdom
Hall where he spent much of his personal time with Brother Curtis
Craig. Ernie was in his element when spending time outdoors either
hunting, four-wheeling or camping. No matter what, his family came
first and he especially enjoyed spending time with his cherished
grandchildren. Ernie saw the humour in any situation and has left an
everlasting impression on many with counltess memories that will be
shared through the generations.
He is survived by beloved wife Vickie
(Estabrooks); children; Cathie Weagle, Petitcodiac, Nicholas (Mary),
Moncton, Shirley (Connie) Taylor, Moncton; grandchildren; Makayla-Lee,
Addison, Jayden, Brody, Edward; brothers Jimmy (Louise), Joe (Tina),
Billy (Barb), Danny; sisters Shirley Pevlin (Randy), Patsy Stannard
(Todd), Beverly, Mary (Pete), Terri (Trevor) and several nieces and
nephews.
Other than his parents Ernie was predeceased by
son Jesse Taylor and brother Johnny.
Resting at the Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Route
106 (372-4800) with visiting Friday, August 18th from 2-4 p.m. and
7-9pm and service Saturday in the Chapel at 1 pm. Interment at the
Pine Grove Cemetery, CornHill.
Memorials to a charity of your choice would be
appreciated by the family.
