It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father and nonno Enrico Torrelli. He passed away peacefully on December 20, 2017 at home with his wife and children by his side. Born in Celano, L’ Aquila, Italy on January 18, 1931. Predeceased by his parents Aristide and Elisabetta, brother Vincenzo and sister Maria (Giovanni). Survived by his wife of 61 years Annunziata, children; Elisa, Floriana, Sante (Caroline), grandchildren; Sandra (Bill), Raffaele (Angela), Enrico (Erin), Thomas and Enrico, great-grandchildren; Amelianna, Nicoletta, Dominic, Isabella, and Marcus. Also loved by nephews, nieces, cousins and many friends. Enrico was a hard-working perfectionist who strived for the highest quality in all aspects of his life. He will be missed by all of us. The family would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Archie Lee Son, the doctors and nurses at Mount St. Joseph’s Hospital and Vancouver Coastal Health for their amazing care. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 28 at Bell & Burnaby Funeral Chapel, 4276 Hastings Street, Burnaby, BC. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 29 at Saint Francis of Assisi Parish, 2025 Napier Street, Burnaby, BC. Entombment to follow at Abbey Mausoleum, Ocean View Burial Park, 4000 Imperial Street, Burnaby, BC. In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to Mount St. Joseph’s Hospital.
