Elwood MacLeod
1935-2017
Peacefully at
his home in Alliston, May 12, 2017, Elwood S. MacLeod passed away,
with his loving wife and son by his side. Born in Iris, PEI
December 11, 1935, he was the son of the late John L. and Ethel
(Campbell) MacLeod of Montague. Besides his devoted wife of 58 years,
Elva (Gillis) MacLeod, he leaves to mourn his passing, sons David
(Mary), Point Pleasant, Gordon, Alliston, Daughter Linda at home;
grandson William, Alliston; daughter-in-law Yumi, Charlottetown; aunt
Eileen MacKenzie, Murray River, Carrie Hopkins, Alliston;
sisters-in-law, Shirley MacLeod, Rhonda MacLeod, Montague. He was
predeceased by his son George; brothers Lornie, Edward, John; sister
Altheia; father and mother-in-law William and Annie
(Campbell) Gillis, Point Pleasant, PEI.
Resting at
Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home, with visiting on Tuesday, May
16th from 6 to 9 pm. Funeral Service to take place in the Funeral Home
Chapel on Wednesday, May 17th at 3 pm. Interment to follow in the
Peters Road Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, donations to the Peters Road
Cemetery or Montague Home and Palliative Care would be appreciated.
