Vandepol, Elizabeth Anne “Liz”
(1939-2017)
Following a courageous battle with Myelofibrosis, with her family by her side, at Kingston General Hospital on Saturday December 16, 2017 in her 79th year. Beloved wife and best friend of Wally Vandepol. Loving mother and best friend of Richard Griffin (Rose).Dear sister of Pat Larsen (Layne). Special Nana of Stephanie and Matthew(Stacy). Fondly remembered by stepchildren Mark Vandepol (Kimberlee) and Vikki Vandepol; step grandchildren Brandon and Dylan. Liz will be forever missed by life-long friend Kim Price (Julian Mellow). Also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends in Canada and Holland.
The family will receive friends at the Robert J. Reid & Sons “The Chapel on the Corner”, 309 Johnson Street, (at Barrie Street), on Thursday from 4-8pm. A Memorial Service will be held in the chapel on Friday December 22, 2017 at 11am. Private interment will be held at Glenhaven Memorial Gardens. A Celebration of Liz’s life will be held at a later date. Please check the online memorial in the New Year.
