Eldon was born in Newfoundland to parents Arthur and May Hunt. He had 8 brothers and sisters. He moved to B.C in 1957, lived in Vancouver, Coquitlam and moved to Maple Ridge in 1983.
He and his wife Kit, had one son Chris (Debbie) and two grandsons Trevor and Garet.
His family was his passion. He lived his life on football fields with his son Chris and hockey rinks with his grandsons Trevor and Garet. Distance was no object. He was there.
He leaves to mourn his wife Kit of 67 years, his son Chris (Debbie), grandsons Trevor and Garet, good friend Ruth Loredo, one brother Arthur (Berthiar), in Florida, one sister, Audrey (Gerry) in Ontario.
Funeral Service will be held at St. Luke’s Catholic Church, Dec 29th at 11:00 am.
