At The Pembroke Regional Hospital, with her family by her side, on Tuesday December 19, 2017 at the age of 75 years. Edith Popke of Pembroke, daughter of the late Leonard and Agnes (nee Scheuneman) Popke. Dear sister of Esther Ryan, Oshawa. Predeceased by her sisters Nelda Paulusse (late Emmett) and Nettie MacDonald, brothers Elvin Popke, Delbert Popke, Albert Kraft, Arnold Kraft, infant August, nieces Debra Paulusse, Evelyn MacDonald, nephew Kevin MacDonald. Sister-in-law of Mary Popke, Wib MacDonald and the late Ethel Kraft. Dear aunt of many nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to share their memories of Edith with her family during visitation at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 296 Isabella Street, Pembroke on Thursday 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in Zion Lutheran Church, Miller Street Pembroke on Friday morning, December 22 at 11 o’clock.
