Dorothy A. Hogenhout
1936-2017
It is with great sadness that the family of
Dorothy Ann Hogenhout announce her passing at York Care Centre,
Fredericton, on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at the age of 80. Dorothy
was born in Estaire, Ontario on July 29, 1936, a daughter of the late
Edward and Ella (Burns)Howard.
Dorothy is survived by her children, Helen
Hogenhout of Richibucto Road, NB, James Hogenhout (Pam) of Slave Lake,
AB, John Hogenhout (Rose) of Fredericton, Deborah Patterson (Dean) of
Lansdown, NB and David Hogenhout (Nancy) of Edmonton, AB; several
grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings Barb, Lil, Linda,
Eileen, Don and Betty; numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and
great-nephews.
Aside from her parents, a daughter Karen
Rose Janssen and a brother Bert predeceased
her.
Although there will be no
visiting hours, friends are welcome to join the family at the memorial
service, celebrating the Dorothy’s life, which will be held
Friday, March 3, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. from Bishop’s Funeral
Home Chapel, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton, N.B. Rev. Brian D.
MacDonald will officiate. Interment will be held at a later
date. The NB heart and Stroke Foundation and the Canadian Diabetes
Association (NB) have been designated for memorial
contributions.
