Peacefully at the Northumberland Hills Hospital on Friday November 17th, 2017 in his 94th year. Beloved husband of the late Ada Prentice. Loving father of Anne (Wayne), Catherine (Rick), Daniel, Linda (Gary), Susan (Bill), Patricia (Norm), Donald and pre-deceased by infant son Richard. Cherished grandfather of Mike (Melissa & the late Julie), Cheryl (Jim), Veronica (Bruce), Barbara (Cyril), Rachel (Pat), Tracy (Mike), Rhonda (Brad), Thomas (Sarah), Beverly (Aaron), Amy Lynn (Shawn), Andrew (Caillie), Rebecca (Carl), Kristen and Sarah. Great grandfather of 25 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren . Dear brother of the late Muriel Smith, Edna Sandbrook Lillian Robilliard and Fred Prentice. Friends are invited to call at the MacCoubrey Funeral Home, 11 King St., W., Colborne on Tuesday from 4-9 pm. A funeral service will be held in St. George’s Anglican Church Grafton on Wednesday November 22nd at 1 pm. Interment in St. George’s Cemetery. If desired donations may be made to St. George’s Anglican Church or Colborne Legion Christmas Hamper Fund. A Legion Service will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday at 4 pm.
