Melanson, 62, of Moncton, with his loving family by his side, passed
away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Saturday, November 18,
2017.
Born December 26, 1954 in Memramcook, NB,
he was the son of Edmond and Annie (LeBlanc)
Melanson.
He leaves behind his wife, Diane
(Otterson) Melanson of 38 years; his twin daughters, Amy and Amanda
and his son Jamie, all of Moncton. He will be sadly missed
by his grandchildren, Brody, Nadia, Kaylee and Oliver-Gordon. His
mother, Annie Melanson. His sister, Aurore Neilson (Donald) of Haute
Aboujagane. His brother, Armand Melanson (Theresa) of Haute
Aboujagane and sister, Marise Avant of Shediac. Many aunts,
uncles, nieces, nephews and several good
friends.
He was predeceased by his father, Edmond
Melanson and brother, Yvon (Judy)
Melanson.
Donnie was a proud employee of the
trucking industry for many years. He loved spending time with his
family, old cars, loved telling jokes and making people laugh and
loved Willie.
In honoring Don’s wishes, there
will be no service. A Memorial Service to celebrate and
honour Don’s life will be held at a later
date.
Arrangements entrusted to Fergusons
Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995).
