Obituary
Don passed away peacefully Sunday May 28, 2017 at the University of Alberta Hospital, after a recent diagnosis of cancer and then suffering a stroke. He is survived by his siblings Joe, Betty, Jane Kreiner, and Jim (Barbara) as well as numerous nieces, nephews and their families. He was predeceased by his parents Clarence, Alma (nee Wood), and brother Ted.
Don lived most of his life in Edmonton, with sojourns across Alberta and to Toronto. He had several careers, concluding with 21 years as a public servant with the Government of Alberta. Don was grateful for the role of AA in his life, which led to decades of sobriety. Don served in numerous roles as a Free Mason for many years (Redwood Lodge No. 193).
