It is with great sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dave. He died peacefully at North Bay Regional Health Centre after a lengthy illness at the age of 55. A celebration of his life will be held at the Callander Legion on Tuesday December 27th from
2 – 6 pm. This will be an informal gathering and at 4:30 we will be sharing stories, memories and laughter as Dave wished.
Donations in memory of Dave can be made to Trillium Gift of Life, North Bay Regional Health Centre, or UHN Toronto General Hospital Multi Organ Transplant Program.
The family wishes to thank all of the health care professionals at the North Bay Regional Health Centre over the years and most recently the nurses and support staff on A3. Thank you also to the Toronto General Transplant Program and Dr. Leslie Lilly for giving him the gift of life. A special thank you to Dr. Steven Steinberg, Dr. Dave Lamont, Dr. Tanya Shulman, Dr. Scott Shulman, and Dr. Bill Finnis for their care over many years.
